Vanilla, Bourbon & Mandarin Home Ambiance Perfume

Warm and inviting, elegant and irresistible. Even my husband loves this subtle scent, and he is quite particular about fragrances. I reverse the reeds every couple of days and the diffuser gives a lovely ambiance fragrance to our 700-square-foot loft. Like several other reviewers here, I was intrigued by the notes in the description, but initially a bit wary. I sprang for the large bottle during one of the fabulous Nordstrom sales, and I'm about to order my second. If you like oriental fragrances and scents with amber accords, I think you will love this. It also has a refreshing little citrus note that keeps it from being too heavy. (But then again, I do love warm orientals.) The first bottle arrived missing its accompanying reeds, and I experienced the most marvelous customer service; the replacement reeds arrived as promised within 24 hours!

This thing does not give off even the most slight scent, defeating the purpose of having it. I purchased the diffuser for my family room. It sits less than four feet from the couch, where I watch TV. I have flipped the sticks almost every day for the last week, and I still cannot smell it, even immediately after flipping the reeds. Even when I had a migraine and could smell even the slightest odor, I couldn't smell this diffuser. Initially I was hesitant to order thinking that the scent would be too strong. Contrarily, I will take back (when I have then energy to properly box up so that the oil doesn't spill all over) due to lack of scent. Maybe leaving out a glass of bourbon with a splash of vanilla would be more effective (and cheaper).
