I too got this as sample and had to have a full bottle. I love the scent and do get many compliments. I have had this for a while and just realized the inner part of the sprayer pump thing does not reach the bottom of the bottle which will make it hard and probably nearly impossible to get ALL the contents out of the bottle. Here is a picture of Santal compared to 13. As much as this costs I think they need to have better quality control. Shame on me for not realizing it sooner but I have never had this happen and who checks for those types of things in a perfume bottle?

A subtle skin scent that is what I imagine a paper mill or printing press warehouse would smell like. Upon first spray, you can catch a hint of jasmine & pear, then it quickly settles into clean, crisp white woods, and an almost metallic sharpness. I suspect this smells a little different on everyone as it mixes with your own skin musk. It's sillage is soft enough to not overwhelm -- I almost forget I'm wearing it. However, it clearly lingers since I've received compliments and inquiries on what fragrance I'm wearing. If you're used to wearing potent, heady, room-filling perfumes, this is definitely not for you. If you would enjoy an understated fragrance that inspires you to cozy up on a leather couch and read a weathered library book, AnOther 13 might be up you alley.

This was a blind buy and I initially hated it. I was excited to try it so right after I opened the box I sprayed it on my wrist and it smelled so sharp like turpentine. That stinky/spicy scent lingered for hours so I thought I would definitely return it. Then the next day I tried it again with no scented lotion on, this time it was less offensive. I kept giving it a chance and by the fourth day I started to like it -I was converted. To me it doesn’t smell the same each time. I think the scent changes according to your body chemistry, the food you eat, the lotion and soap you use. I always pick up a slight difference in the scent every time I put it on. Excellent performance 10/10 - even after a sweaty hot yoga class I can still smell it on my wrist. It’s so strange that now that after 15 minutes on me when I sniff myself my mouth waters. I never had anything like this before. So yeah, I’m keeping it.
