I have this skirt in a lot of colors I love it so much! I first discovered it online at Macys and now Nordstrom is caring it. I usually wear size S but quickly realized after receiving the S in navy that I should have ordered the XS. I receive many complaints on this skirt, love the longer length and the heavier fabric. Returning the S and already ordered the XS. Size down!

Larger than Life!
Wow! It was suggested to "size-down", So I bought an XL: normally a XXL for fitted zip style skirts, sometimes a XL for elastic waist banded types: NOT this one! First off, the elastic is too weak to support the weight of the skirt, at any size. I tried wearing it around the house, and within minutes it was already falling off my hips...and I am fuller-figured. May try a 'L' instead; but that won't strengthen the elastic.
Bought the Espresso...gorgeous deep chocolate as shown, with a nice sheen. Not lined...it would really be heavy then, but still, all skirts should be lined (with appropriate measures incorporated into the waist bands to hold them up!) IMO.
So, do go down a size, and IF you can, get one size down from your regular skirt size and a x2 size down to compare. Be prepared for a weak waist band and a somewhat heavy skirt for it to support.

Not worth the price
Wanted to love this skirt. Got it in an XL and it is defintely on the larger size of that (which could be great.) The pleats overall are good quality but the elastic at the top is cheap. Definitely not worth the price. Returning... maybe i'll try the L

classy blue pleat
nice quality fabric, on the heavy side. nice length, nice finishing blue sheen. size L surprisingly fits a bit big, but then American sizes are bigger than in Europe where this size would be an XL. i'm 5'10" and the length is just right, to about between calf and ankle.
