Not Compression
I ordered down one size and they still slipped right on with gapping at the waist. The waist has an interior elastic band which was very uncomfortable and would turn up every time I bent my waist. It should have been sewn in place. They were very soft and a true denim with no bulk. Just wish they fit more like my faux leather Spanx.
Returned.
