Signature Multi Disc Band Ring

Gorgeous ring - beautiful, light, and very unique. HOWEVER- after owning it for about 6mo (light wear, minimal water contact, always removed when cleaning to avoid exposure to chemicals, etc.), I noticed that the gold 'faded' from a of a lot of the circles, leaving them silver. As somebody familiar with jewelry casting, it was pretty evident that the amount of 18k 'gold plating' described is super minimal. When I took it in to Nordstrom, they said they could send it in for repair but that I would likely be charged and that it would take 3+ months... I ended up returning the ring because I'm not going to pay extra to repair poor craftsmanship that should exist for the price of this ring. I also felt that it would be moot to send a piece of poorly made jewelry back to the same designer initially responsible for the poor quality of the piece. While Anna Beck designs beautiful pieces - they simply don't last. Instead of buying the same ring again (and watching the gold wear off after 6 months), I'm choosing to commission a jeweler to make a quality version of this ring.

My ring is silver & gold. My mom got it for me for a milestone birthday and I loved it. Working a few weeks the little dots started to fall off. I returned and ordered the same exact ring. Working a week one of the twisted/braided circles popped off. The ring is beautiful and the materials are nice, but for the price the craftsmanship should be much better. I'm going to take it to a jeweler and have it fixed since I love the ring. But what a serious inconvenience and pain in the butt. The lady at Nordstrom said we could send it back to the manufacturer but the turn around is 8-12 weeks! That's 1/3 year....

I just recently purchased this ring. It is beautiful and the first silver AB ring I have purchased. I have four other AB rings (saddle ring, black onyx, rose gold three-ring stack). I usually like to wear these rings on my right hand (middle finger), in a size 7. My ring finger is a size 6. I can say this ring fits a little smaller than the other rings I have, and it is harder to get over my knuckles. I will wear this on my index finger, especially on days if my fingers swell (depending on what I eat). If you are looking for a versatile ring that can go with silver, rose gold, or even gold/silver jewelry, this is a great staple to have.
