Different side fabric.
I have worn Sperry Angelfish for years, purchasing a new pair each year and using the previous ones for yard work. I am returning these due to fabric on the sides. It is like a felt with a nap and I feel they will not hold up especially if they get wet. I will have to look for a different pair.
