Beverly Hills 'Covet' Waterproof Eyeliner

I'm still looking for the perfect eyeliner, though I'm convinced it's yet to be invented. (For the waterline, let me clarify, for lids I use Inglot gel and love it). I have tried so many brands, from drugstore brands to Urban Decay, Lancome, NARS, Dior, Channel, etc. This one is pretty good and what I've been using. It doesn't smudge under and just a tiny bit in the corner. It's easy to apply. It last long but it sorts of fade, turning into a lighter black after a couple of hours, when you should probably reapply. But at least you don't go around looking like a clown with black stuff all around your eyes. Chanel stays on black all day but it smudges a little. NARS and UD were a mess.

Best eyeliner I have ever used. Withstands extreme humidity, damp concealer and sweat. It's not only waterproofer but smudge proof as well. I have used every water proof eyeliner formula and this is the only one that does not smudge. The Astral color is the best, the other colors seem to smudge slightly upon application. The Astral is a cross between olive and grey.

I have been wearing eyeliner for YEARS. I have pretty much tried every brand, every type and every price-point. I have settled for mediocrity many times, thinking what I wanted (one the stays put, doesn't run or transfer) just didn't exist. Well, I found perfection with this one. I bought the "noir", a nice, rich black and couldn't be happier. I put it on, on top of my eyelids and in the line just under my lashes. An hour later, I checked the mirror, expecting it to be all over the place and it was still perfectly in place!! It stayed there all day!!!! I couldn't be happier!!!!! This stuff is incredible.

I really like this product. The colors are opaque and very fun and easy to use. The liner itself is a little soft so dont use a heavy hand when applying. Did not last through a very intense workout, but generally stays in place. Not too sure about the waterproof claim, which is pointed out in other reviews and I agree its water resistant at best.

What a disappointment as my initial impression was good of this product from the positive reviews and the appealing design of the product--but what a shock it was to find that the liner was not only full of glitter and glimmery bits as that was not in the description and is definitely not something for older gals! The glitter also did not stay in place and I found little glimmer bits on the side of my face near my eyes and it was overall a bit like something from a costume shop or a teen makeup counter. Like the other poster with the question, I really wanted and needed a rich, dark brown liner and there was nothing like that and black would be too harsh. Seems like a great brand but the color selection and the lack of mentioning all of the glitter was a bit of a hassle as I had to return the product and still ended up without a good, waterproof dark brown or even very dark plum liner from this company.

It does what it says it does--lasts all day. I have always found it difficult to keep eyeliner from wearing off. It is easy to control the pencil.
