see through
The picture online shows a slip dress underneath…it is not delivered that way. I looked through the description again, to see if I missed that part, no mention of needing to purchase a slip separately. The color is quite pretty/matches the photo, but I did return.

Just what I wished for
Wore this to a party with a bralette and biker shorts… perfect for a night of dancing!

tight across shoulders
Such an adorable style and I loved the light and airy feel; however, the seam across the chest connects to the seams on the arms so it feels like you have a rope wrapped around your shoulders. It would be perfect if that seam wasn’t fixed but elastic. Sad to send her back but these shoulders refuse to be bound.

Not the photo
This is a light, airy, easy-to-pack dress very cheaply made of eco-conscious, recyclable fabric--lyocell. It's hip and can be made hipper with accessories. I like it more than I thought I would. HOWEVER: it's not even close to the orange sherbet color in the photo. Nope--it's terracotta. Which is lovely, and actually a little more fitting and serious if you're middle aged and don't want to look like you're on a prom date. Or hunting for one. It's just useful to be aware. This is light, airy, terracotta. Like, brick-ish. You'll be able to wear brown shoes with it if you like. (I won't, but I could.)
One more thing: The slip is MUCH shorter than the dress. Check to see if this bothers you before you decide how to wear it. You might want to find a longer one, and a nicer, too.
