Adorable but pricy and small
The Jellycat Amusable Peanut Space Rodeo is, without question, one of those items that makes you stop mid-scroll and think, “wait… why is this SO cute?” Because it is. The design is ridiculously charming—tiny peanut body, soft plush texture, and then the unexpected twist of a little space cowboy theme that somehow works perfectly. It’s quirky in the best way, and honestly, the cuteness factor alone carries this product hard. If you’re buying it for aesthetic, personality, or just pure joy, it absolutely delivers.
That said, the biggest criticism across reviews—and it’s valid—is the size. It’s smaller than many people expect when they see it online. You think you’re getting something a bit more substantial, and then it arrives and fits right in your palm. For some people that adds to the charm, but for others it definitely contributes to the feeling that you’re paying a lot for something tiny.
And that brings us to the price. Jellycat has basically become the modern-day Beanie Baby—but at a much steeper cost. A Beanie Baby back in the day, adjusted for inflation, would run you maybe around $12 today. This little peanut? Over $30. That’s nearly three times the price for something arguably in the same category: small, collectible, plush novelty items. It’s hard not to notice that jump.
But here’s the thing—despite the size and the price, people still love it. Why? Because Jellycat has mastered the art of making objects that feel special. The quality is soft, the design is memorable, and the character is unmatched. This isn’t just a stuffed toy; it’s something people display, gift, and even collect.
Overall: overpriced? Yes. Smaller than expected? Also yes.
But unbelievably cute, oddly iconic, and weirdly worth it if you fall in love with it? Absolutely.
PS not for Poodles or other furry friends…

Out of this world!
By far one of the cutest Jellycats out there however I can’t get over the fact that it’s smaller than a soda can!
