This premium, ultra-lightweight infant car seat for baby weighs under 7 pounds, so carrying Ambra is a breeze and outings with your little one are easy.

Why parents will love it: The Ambra baby car seat is designed with comfort and security in mind. Best of all, car seat installation of our convenient stay-in-car infant car seat base is simple and secure with rigid LATCH connectors. It is designed with EcoCare fabric, 100%-recycled fabric made from plastic bottles. The yarn produced is soft, comfortable and breathable. The car seat also features PureCosi™, fabrics made without added fire-retardant treatment, which is better for your child and the planet. Carry handles featured a faux-leather grip for a comfortable carry.

Why kids will love it: The new canopy design features UPF 50 sun protection that zips out to extend for full coverage for your little one. It also features extra-plush padding on the removable infant head and lumbar inserts for a cozy, secure fit.

5 Stars SUPER easy to install and LIGHT carseat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the Maxi Cosi Ambra Infant seat to test from Stellar Product testing and I was so happy with it! Car seats are so important and kmowing your baby is safe and comfortable is a HUGE win. If you can also not break your arms and back carrying the infant seat you are in heaven. This seat checks all the boxes! It is so easy to use! It is so comfortable and having the extra base is amazing. Not to have to worry if you installed it right or not is a huge thing off my plate. The seat looks modern and new without it being too plain or overbearing. The fabric is high quality and comfortable. It is easy to wash. The seat looks good without being too childish or bright. It looks nice in your car. It looks and feels like it is made well and materials all seem sturdy and high quality. They all seem like premium materials and like they will last a long time. It has so much cushion and is so soft! Also love the optional load leg for added security in a wreck. It makes my mind so much less anxious to be traveling with baby. Our carseats have to be comfortable because we have older children who have activities so our babies are all in the car a lot. This seat fits the bill! Baby always seems very comfortable and the seat seems to be cozy but not cramped or tight. The seat seems supportive and well cushioned for all our long days in the car. Baby falls asleep easily in the seat all the time. Everyday use is easy with how practical this seat is. The easy base makes it so easy to put baby in and take them out of the car to run into the store or the practice. The straps/harness is easy to adjust and secure without having to fight it or spend a long time fussing with it. It feels secure everytime pretty quickly. It is also so nice to be able to easily get baby out of the car while sleeping without waking them up. After using the Maxi Cosi Ambra, I would definitely recommend it to other parents who are looking for an infant car seat. It combines comfort, quality, practicality, light weight design, easy installation, and a beautiful design. The biggest perk is that my baby seems very comfortable in it and is able to easily move in and out of the car in our hectic daily travels without having to be disturbed much. It has made life easier with traveling so much woth bigger siblings and a big family. I don't have to worry if grandma or big sister got the car seat buckled in right. The peace of mind is HUGE!

Looks are deceiving on this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the MAXI COSI Ambra Infant Car Seat from Stellar product testing panel to test for my honest review. When i first took this car seat out of the box, I loved it! The color is awesome and it looks really nice. It has some really cool features, like the canopy that has a zipper to extend it. And the fact that it has an easily adjustable harness system that you just slide up and down to adjust the straps height. The chest clip is magnetic and it just self snaps closed with no effort at all! The head and body pillows in it are super supportive for a newborn but just didnt fit my chunky 9 month old. I took both pillows out for my baby to be able to fit in the seat. Removing the body pillows left her weirdly uncomfortable. When awake her head fell forward and she couldn't comfortably lay her head back to rest because it put her head at a weird angle. When she fell asleep her head was leaning really far back and she looked really uncomfortable and kept waking up on the car ride. With the head and body pillows for a newborn its probably amazing and comfortable but it just wasnt it for my baby. I tried to put the head and body pillows back in and tried to make her fit comfortably but she just looked like she was laying on top of a pillow and the straps didnt adjust long enough to be able to buckle her in with the head and body pillows, she just looked like she was laying on top and wasnt even I side the seat. I would definitely not purchase this for a baby older than a couple months unless they are tiny, and purchasing such an expensive car seat to only be able to use when they are a newborn is not in my budget at all. Im pretty bummed because this is a really nice carseat and I really wanted it to work out for my baby but no amount of adjustments made it comfortable for her at all.

Beautiful and Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the Maxi-Cosi Ambra car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try and honestly I was extremely impressed by the car seat. I am extremely picky with products for my. son but was surprised with the Ambra. With other seats my son always looked so scrunched in the seat but he fit perfect in the Ambra but also looks secure. You are able to adjust the bottom strap as well as the head rest without having to rethread! The install process was easy and rocked less than other seats we have used on the base. The buckle is easy to use and get my son into especially as he now seems to wiggle around. The car seat is extremely lightweight which is so important especially as my son gets heavier as I need to bring him in and out of our second floor apartment in it. Overall the car seat is a solid choice for any new parent and I highly recommend it!

LIGHTWEIGHT AND MOM FRIENDLY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really been loving the MAXI COSI Ambra Infant Car Seat! I’m a single mom with two kids under two, so having a car seat that’s lightweight and easy to carry has been a huge help. Getting both kids in and out of the car can already be a lot, so I really appreciate not having to struggle with a heavy car seat too. I love the look of it—it’s simple, modern, and doesn’t feel bulky. It’s easy to carry and get in and out of the car, which has made things a little easier for me when I’m out with both kids. The installation was pretty straightforward once I got everything figured out, and it feels secure once it’s installed. My favorite thing is definitely how lightweight and convenient it is. It makes everyday trips with my two little ones just a little less stressful! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.

So comfortable and stylish and SAFE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the generosity of the stellar product testing panel, I was able to test out this fantastic car seat as a gift. I have been through multiple iterations of car seats in my parenting days, and this one is certainly one of the best. The material is incredibly soft, yet not too hot for my child. There seems to be a mesh like breathing system that helps regulate the temperature, both in the fabric and on the outside of the plastic protective coating. There are so many different ways to position the headrest and adjacent cushions, that it is easy to make sure my child is always snug (and sleepy!). The chest clip is my favorite, however. It’s so easy to latch and includes a magnet to make sure it clicks quickly and securely. The canopy is also fantastic, especially when getting in and out of the vehicle on sunny days. The seat itself is light enough for my wife to lift easily, and it snaps into the base incredibly safely and securely. I have zero qualms about the seat and would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Great car seat with ergonomic handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this infant car seat. First impressions - love the design of the handle, the slight curve makes it so much easier to hold compared to the other car seat I have with a straight arm. It’s also incredibly lightweight and compact. Fits well behind my driver side without compromising on leg room. My baby loves it and falls right asleep. I’m honestly super impressed by this seat. My favorite feature is the mesh top! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great car seat light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very shocked I was picked to try this from Stellar Product Testing Panel, this car seat is very lightweight and padded especially great for newborns. The base is slightly heavy! But it's nice that this car seat comes with the base and you don't need to buy it separately.
