How to use: Like perfume or eau de toilette, cologne is a fragrance designed to be worn on the skin. Spritz generously onto your wrists, neck and pulse points your body heat will help to diffuse the scent as the day goes on. After applying your cologne, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. Masculine scent
This is a big no for me, it's very masculine in my opinion. Very intense and just too strong for me. I believe it's the amber that is not doing it for me. Sorry, I truly wanted to like it. I did receive this product for free in exchange for testing and reviewing.

Powerful, Long-Lasting, and Distinctly Masculine
One of my signature perfumes for the last five years is a Jo Malone fragrance, and I’ve loved several from this brand. I’ve rarely tried anything from the intense line apart from this one, and I could immediately tell that this is much longer-lasting than the typical Jo Malone fragrances I’ve used. One spray was enough to last 5 - 6 hours on my skin, and it took another few hours to completely fade.
I wanted to love this, but it’s not really for me. It’s a lot more oud-like and muskier than I anticipated; I can see this suiting men a lot more. I ended up giving it to a male family member, and it smells a lot better with his skin chemistry. It doesn’t smell bad per se; it’s just leans really masculine to my nose.
It reminds me of the Middle Eastern oud scents I grew up with, with a strong amber note. There’s also a slightly acidic take on the oud, and looking at the notes, it makes sense that the bitter orange might be contributing to that. There is a vanilla base that grounds this, making the dry down a lot nicer for me. It’s smooth, slightly smoky, and woody; perfect for the colder seasons. I’d give the sillage an 8/10 (there’s a strong presence), projection an 8/10 (one spray filled my whole room, no kidding), and longevity an 8/10 (lasted a little longer than expected). Overall, I’d give this fragrance a 4/5.
