Fabric appearance at a leather price
The leather of this espadrille (not really a ballet flat) was disappointing. It's stiff and has a striated texture that makes it look like fabric. Also, the braiding around the sole has a gold metallic weave that I didn't expect. Finally, it gapped on the sides. I returned them.
