Stride Shorts

I had these in my wishlist during the anniversary sale and was so excited when they became available for a hot second for me to buy. I feel like they run slightly small? I wear a large in most bottoms and these fit, and fit ok, but they is definitely not room to spare. Also, the built in underwear, the way it's cut it almost like a medium bum coverage swim bottom, which in workout shorts I'd prefer more or a full coverage to feel more comfortable. That said, it doesn't feel like it would ride up. I think I'm going to keep these bc I've been on the hunt for shorts this color, but they aren't my best or most comfortable workout shorts for sure.

They look and fit nothing like the model. I understand my bottom half can be hard to fit (I lift and play sports, plus am genetically shaped like a short pear) but I was very disappointed with the way these weren’t designed for a normal body. They gapped at the stomach area, we’re tight in the bum area, and the short themselves flapped like a large blanket had been wrapped around me. Alo has great reviews across social media platforms and this is my first time trying an Alo product. I’m now wondering if they’re sizing is fit for models posing than for the athletic women they target.

I love these shorts, I even got them in different colors. I have found that they tend to run on the smaller side. If you're in between sizes, I recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. This seems to be a problem I've found with Alo products in general. The shorts do have built in underwear which can become annoying.
