A tale of two shorts - quality varies by color
I bought these in the anniversary sale in grey, but when in store noticed they had the pink lava color and decided to try them on. Unfortunately they were pretty much see through. I figured I'd have to cancel my gray ones too, but they arrived and are perfect! Not sheer, super comfy, very flattering. I think the pink lava must have a white base due to the neon and it makes it more likely to be transparent. Overall the gray ones are perfect, but I'd take caution with the pink ones.

Different Material / Fuzzy Texture
The Alo bike shorts (pink lava) are not made of the satiny material & texture as that of their legging counterparts, in fact they feel a bit rough to the touch (see photo). Very disappointed & no longer confident in Alo . Returned.

LOVE the color!
When I saw the color, I couldn’t pass it up. They run true to size, I ordered a small. I’m normally a 4/27.

Didn't work for me
I got these to wear for HIIT workouts. I sweat a lot when I exercise and I could tell when I tried these on that they were going to be too hot. The material is very thick, almost like a scuba fabric. If you don't overheat when you work out or plan to wear them for something non-cardio then they're very cute and the thicker fabric is smoothing.

Love is in the air
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with these, the color is magnificent , the texture is soft and the fit is undeniably comfortable, I would buy every color !

I was so excited for these bike shorts but then after I tried them on, they sadly were VERY see through. Had to return them
