Beautiful + Edgy, Runs Small
Love the look of this skirt. It's both structured yet flowy, edgy, and a bit romantic, and will pair with many different types of shoes, from more dressy to boots. I'm typically an XS or S, (5'4, 123 lbs, 25-inch waist, 36-inch hips, with a spoon body type), so I ordered a 4, which runs small imo. The elastic waist is quite snug and creates compression, which causes some unflattering skin bulging above the waistband. I'm a 40ish goth-mom of 2, and my skin isn't as taut as the Allsaints model. :-) I've returned it for a size up, which I'm hoping will provide a little more breathing room and look more flattering with tops. It is of great quality, but it will be a delicate fabric. The tag alerts you to this by recommending you remove jewelry and be mindful of surfaces that can damage the gauzy fabric.

Just the right edgy skirt
Really cute skirt. Nordstrom needs to do better in their packaging and shipping methods. Part of the skirt’s fragile hem was caught in the glue of the packaging. It took me 10 minutes to free the fabric from the glue without ripping it. Also Nordstrom does offer free shipping but their shipping is very slow now.
