Best Black Backpack!!!!
I have been looking for a good quality back pack for a long time. Believe me I have probably broken the record on buying and returning them on line because they were just not right. Well this bag is beautiful the quality and size are exactly what i was looking for. I also love the shoulder strap as it fits under my arm just right. I know I will have this bag for a very long time!!!!

Design Flaws.
I love the color of this purse. I bought the maroon. However, in my opinion, it has serious design flaws. I thought the side zipper was an extra compartment like all the other purses I have ever owned. It is not! It puts you into the main compartment of the purse. So, if you for some reason forget to zip it, you will lose whatever can fit through the opening. Or, a cleaver pick pocket can easily open it. Secondly, the top strap just has a snap which can wear over time.
I wish Allsaints would make a purse like this with an actual side compartment or two, not in a backpack and a longer "shoulder" strap without a snap.

Inexplicable Zipper
This is a stunning bag with a fatal design flaw: It permits entry through a side zipper to the main compartment. I cannot fathom why this was included, especially in a bag designed to be worn as a backpack. It's a gleaming invitation to pickpockets. (The description also says this comes with a detachable inner bag, but mine did not arrive with one.)

Not for me
I ordered this online. I really liked the idea and the look of it but when I got it and tried it on it was very stiff and square looking. The top handle added a nice touch but made it difficult to get in and out of the bag. My rule is for me to spend a lot of money on a bag, I have to love it so...I ended up returning it.

Love the convertible function
Cute bag and I like the convertible function. Color is great! As a backpack, it is not the most comfortable but probably ok for a normal day out. I will be using this for travelling and am unsure how practical it will be. It is hard to open/close the top zipper which makes me appreciate the side zipper. However, as others have commented, the side zip makes me uneasy about possibly being a target for pickpockets. I may need to put some type of cardboard inside to keep the bottom of the bag flat. Overall I think it will be a good easy going bag and the leather looks durable.

Not for me.
Although I love most All Saints bags, this one is not for me. I was excited for the different ways to carry the bag, but the opening is so big, it would pose a challenge to keep items inside. There were not enough storage compartments to keep items safe, and the shoulder strap was too short. The bag could only be warm as a back pack. The quality of the leather was nice and strong and the green color was just the right green for fall. The bag was great In theory, just didn’t have the Right construction to serve as a purse,. This bag is definitely a backpack and not designed to be used as a purse.
