Skarlet Block Heel Chelsea Boot (Women)

I bought these boots in Black Shine directly from All Saints on their Black Friday sale. I was surprised with the quality when I received them. The square toe is cool and modern, they're comfortable, but the extreme shine makes the leather look very cheap to the point that they might as well not be made of real leather. I was hoping it'd look slick, but the price does not match the quality. The most I'd ever consider paying for these is $80. I compared them side by side to my $40 Chelsea boots from Aldo and the materials look roughly the same quality. I'm unsure if the non-shiny version would look better. AllSaints leather is typically very nice, but this just isn't it. They run about a 1/2 size small.

I usually wear size 39 in AllSaints boots/shoes, that said, I ordered this in size 39. It runs big and I realize it does not come in half a size, I’m hoping the store has a 38 so I can try it on. But this 39 is a bit too big for me. I was taken back by the shiny leather, perhaps it’s a bit too shiny but it makes it look sort of dressy/borderline tacky. It is a very comfortable boots, cushion feeling on the instep. Im hoping the 38 would work out for me.

These paired with a simple black turtleneck and jeans immediately gives you fashion style points! They're very comfortable, run a half size bigger than other All Saint styles, IMHO, and look so edgy. I'm not used to wearing many combat boots, so they can feel a bit heavy at times. Also, the sole tends to scuff easily, even when I thought I was being pretty careful with them. Overall, a good buy.
