Elora Crop Leather Biker Jacket

Gorgeous quality true to Allsaints and the crop length is great for petites since it highlights your waistline - will be so cute with high rise jeans, trousers and it works better with dresses than my full length leather jacket. Feels about a size small to me - I am 5 feet tall, usually a size xxs / 00 in other brands and would do a 0 in this jacket.

Comments about sizing are all over the place likely due to different reference points regarding the brands other reviewers are making comparisons with and people plan to wear the jacket. First, the sizing of this jacket is consistent with the AllSaints sizing during the past few years, so it runs larger than classic AllSaints (which ran tiny) and about the same as a slim-fitting contemporary brand like Theory. Second, this jacket is designed to be cropped and close-fitting. My regular size works well as part of a complete outfit look, over a dress, a tee, or a lightweight knit. One size up works best for more of an outerwear look (where like a coat, it is meant to be taken off) that fits over somewhat heavier, bit not truly bulky clothing due to the high cut armholes. Note also that this a 17-inch long jacket and an under-layer may hang below the hem so, it doesn't readily lend itself to layering unless your layers tend to be cropped as well or you want a stacked layer effect. I really like both my regular AllSaints size and one size up for two quite different looks. Therefore, as you think about interpreting sizing recommendations, it may help to consider (1) what brands you want to compare this to, (2) whether you want a topper that is part of an outfit or a traditional outerwear piece, and (3) the cropped, close fitting style of this particular jacket. I bought this jacket in black. The leather is medium weight but soft with a dye that does not smell strong, and the black color of the quite plentiful hardware allows it to blend into the design lending an expensive look. Finally, this is a standard AllSaints style available in other other leather color/hardware color combinations so it is evident the NAS offers an opportunity to purchase a great style at a favorable price. Petite women still exist. Being a Nordstrom’s customer for almost 30 years, I do remember separate Petite Department at Nordstrom and all the wonderful clothes I bought there. A lot of changes happened at Nordstrom over the years, including disappearance of petite sizes. Short women do exist and they would love to shop at Nordstrom.

I managed to snag this jacket early and even though it is beautiful, it runs SO SMALL!!! Allsaints jackets already run small, so I got my usual allsaints leather jacket size aka a US 8 and it is unbelievably tight in the shoulders and I could not layer a long sleeve underneath. For reference I am usually a small or medium in tops (or size 6), Im going to return this one and try to snag a size 10

I read the reviews before purchasing and most people said to size up..some say size up 1 size, some say 2 sizes. I still bought 3 different sizes to try out. I normally wear XS (size 2) in jackets. My bust is average size...typically 34B (34C on some days). I'm around 115lbs and my shoulders are pretty narrow and I have a small waist. The size US 2 definitely does not fit. I was shocked at how tight it was on me. It was comical. Even the size US 4 did not allow for much room. It was still too fitted to be flattering. I managed to scoop up the size 6 when it restocked and this one fits just right. Fitted, but still loose enough to move around and wear thin clothing underneath. I think this makes a great topper for a slipdress. I love how the hardware is black so you can pair it with gold or silver jewelry without it clashing and the softness of the material. But the reviews are right, it does run very small. I never have to go up to a size 6!
