Dalby Leather Biker Jacket

5’7’’ Madewell size 25/26, 34A, pear shaped 30-something with narrow shoulders has entered the chat. Plz don’t ask what I weigh cause I don’t need that energy in my life. I took the ‘true to size’ label to heart and ordered the US size 4 because I’m typically a 2 in tops. All Saints got some jokes. My dad who is practically legally blind could tell it was too tight for me. My husband recommended keeping it and wearing nothing underneath but that’s another story. Bottom line, I’m first world haunted for not picking up a size 6. If this miraculously comes back in stock, SIZE UP. If you’re broad in the shoulders or have thicc arms SIZE UP. N sale won’t get me like this next year I’ll buy all the sizes. Leather is buttery and cut is gorg. I’d love to see pics of a US size 0 in this jacket. Could legit fit a small child.

The leather is so soft and supple and the Deep Berry Red is like a classic mahogany color, def more brown than red. Sizing runs small. I’m 5’6” 115 lbs and usually wear an XS-S/0-2. I tried on a 4 and it was uncomfortably snug in my shoulders. Went up to a 6 so I’ll be able to wear in fall/winter with a sweater underneath. My favorite buy from the sale!

Have been actively searching (3-4yrs, dozens of try-ons) for the replacement for my only leather — a 20+yo Laundry Lambskin Moto, It’s almost perfect — classic, warm-toned color; cropped; form-fitting yet zip-able (worn mostly open, over slip midi/maxi dresses.) Its one issue — uncomfortably snug at the shoulders + upper arms. Two years ago, a petite pal found her perfect Black Moto in the AllSaints Darby. Determined at an AS boutique that a size 6 fit best for my 5’2” / 120-lb / broad-shouldered / not-skinny upper arm frame, awaiting a color more me. Imagine my utter joy to find Exactly What I’ve Been Waiting For featured in this year’s Anniversary Sale — the AS Darby in a color identical to my Laundry!!! (Shout out to U-tuber, Melissa Goodwin!) [Pictured: AS Darby (size 4) on Left Halves VS. vintage Laundry (size S) on Right Halves.] Note that AS Darby’s “Deep Berry Red” is more accurately that of my Laundry’s Deep Brown w/ a Slight Red-Tinge! The fit of both jackets are identical — cropped; form-fitting body; perfect sleeve length; and (sadly) snug @ shoulders & upper arms, Went to an All Saints Boutique to retry on the Darby (size 6) — shoulders perfect, but (at that size) body no longer form-fitting, sleeve length too long. Darn, the search resumes…

Another gorgeous jacket from AllSaints! I have quite a few AllSaints leather jackets, so I'm familiar with their sizing. I honestly wish they would make their jackets a little longer, but that's beside the point. I bought this in an 8 (I'm usually a 6-8), and it fit fairly well. I can only ever just do their jackets up at first, but they do ease up with time. I just make sure that the shoulders of the jacket match my shoulders, and then I don't have a problem. I bought the Cloud Pink, and was unsure what color I was actually going to end up with as the model showed more of a bubble gum pink, and the sales associate showed a lighter pink. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the lighter pink, which was a very pretty almost pale mauve pink. The leather quality is good - very smooth and soft as is the norm with AllSaints. So glad I got this, as it is something different, and perfect to throw over a summer dress in the evening. I have this jacket in oxblood and black also, and the sizing is consistent with all color ways that I own.

This is my second ALLSAINTS leather jacket. The size 4 is tight, can only wear with one layer. I sized up this year to a 6 and it fits much better. With a size 6, I can wear a long sleeve comfortably. The wineberry color is darker than pictured but of amazing quality. I am 120lbs and 32C/34B, usually an XS or S in tops or sweaters.
