Colette Leather Crossbody Bag

I just received this purse in black and I love it, will carry all fall and winter. Perfect size, although it is smaller than my other purses, beautiful leather, I love the thick strap, big buckle, and the tassels. It can be a crossbody or shoulder bag. I only wish that instead of having two identical zippered compartments, one would be a fold over flap with a snap that would be easier to get into. I appreciate the security of the zippers, but one would be enough. I also wish it came in a true beige or camel color as well and not such a pink-y beige.

Soft and well made. My only gripe is that it’s not easy to get things (small wallet, small iphone) in and out of the bag due to the direction the zipper faces and the way the opening is restricted by the top folded over it. Same with the zippered pocket on the back- hard to access it on-the-go bc of the little leather flap. I suspected as much just looking at the photos online, so they aren’t deal breakers for me. But it won’t be as versatile as I had hoped bc of that. It’s definitely not a bag I’ll grab when I know I’ll need to be constantly reaching into my purse. It’s beautiful and understated though, and the strap is ridiculously comfortable to wear.
