Celeste Leather Crossbody Bag

I was so excited for this purse. I saw it in the store and loved the look. Once I got home I kicked myself for not getting it, so I decided to order it. When it came it was scratched all over. So I had to return it. I decided to order again because I loved the size. It fit my items without it feeling overloaded. It seemed great and thought (hoped) maybe it was a fluke. The second one came and it wasn’t scratched. Yay, I think. That day I went outside and it misted. Not even full rain, like a few spits for 1 minute. That’s it. A normal person it wouldn’t matter. This one- not the case. It literally bubbled up. I can’t imagine if it was actual rain. It never went down. Little bubbles stayed all over which resulted to me having to return it. It’s a beautiful purse, but I would 100% not recommend. I like to think it’s a fluke, but two separate purses with two separate issues doesn’t seem like a fluke.

I am someone who is very careful with any bag I purchase, designer or not, and I’m a little disappointed with this one. I’ve been eyeing this bag for months and finally bought it during a sale. Within a week I noticed a lot of scuffs and scratches in the leather and creasing around the edges of the bag. You have to look closely to notice but still, I have bags that were a third of the price and don’t have this issue. Overall it’s a very nice spacious bag and exactly what I was looking for. Maybe there’s something I missed in how to care for the bag but I still didn’t expect wear and tear to be noticeable this early on.
