Alli V-Neck Sweater

I always look for sweaters that are mostly, if not all, cotton. They are very hard to find anymore. This one has some cotton, and it feels nice wearing it. After a couple wearings and careful washings, it is already pilling some. For an expensive sweater, you don’t expect that, but it’s to be expected with the other fibers.I think the best quality nowadays is vintage quality peices from years gone by. Quality cotton is not used much anymore, no matter what the price point is.

I am 5'7", 155 lbs and the Small looks absolutely ridiculous. Like I borrowed my husband's XXL sweater. Not flattering at all. If it was longer and straighter it could work as a dress but I could fit two of me in the width. Why does FP insist on making such unflattering, boxy, whale-size sweaters???

I purchased this sweater in the blue while it was on sale. It is much thicker than expected, but will be great for when it gets really cold here. I also highly recommend sizing down in it. I usually run between an L and XL in tops depending on how they're made. I went for the L in this sweater after having read other comments. I easily could have ordered a M and still have it be oversized. If you like a more snug fit, I would probably even recommend going down two sizes from normal.

The fit of this sweater is oversized, which is one of the things I love about the brand. It's 100% cotton, a huge plus and the v-neck isn't too low. It's the perfect style/fit; my issue is the color. There are many shades of lilac/lavender/orchid and monitors can vary colors are well, I get that. This " iris orchid" undertone appears to be red, not blue. I found the shade very odd and not to my liking. Will likely purchase in a different color.
