Got the Randolph Bit and the Grayson Tassles but the Kiltie reins supreme! Truly a must have for anyone who appreciates a stylish loafer with presence. Fit, as described, runs appx a half size smaller. Grab a pair while you can!

Not breaking in at all, shoe is tight at the top
I have been trying to break these in for 3-4 days now wearing them to the office and they still hurt!! The top of the shoe where the kilt and tassels are are the most restrictive. This is my second pair of Allen Edmonds these are incredibly uncomfortable. Would recommend trying before you buy.

Randolph Kiltie Widths Caution
I have worn the Randolph penny, Grayson and the smooth toe saddle Polo dress shoe for decades... ALL D WIDTH. The Randolph Kiltie RUNS NARROW and had to replace it with an E width. Gorgeous shoe!

Too Tight On The Instep For Me
I bought 8.5 D width. Usually D width is OK, but these were way to tight on the instep. They slipped on OK the first time, but then my feet swelled up so much I couldn't get them on again. I drove 4 hours to Leawood Kansas for a fitting and wound up with Grayson Tassle loafers. The Graysons fit fine. If you have a high instep, think twice before buying Randolfs. Look at Grayson instead.

Fit to size and STUNNING to the eye.
There's only one word for these shoes: STUNNING! All AE shoes are nearly perfect. The Kiltie is totally perfect. They fit to size, and like all loafers they will feel like bedroom slippers as they become broken in. No doubt about it!
