Shoe can squeak
Shoes squeak when walking. They also run a size larger and wider. The style is very nice. It's too bad that they make noises when walking, I could always exchange for a normal width shoe, but it's the squeaking that one can't accept. If not for the squeaking, I would love the shoe and recommend it to others.

Love the look
I like the look of these shoes. The leather is really nice, but the fit is not as good a most of my AE shoes. I chose an 8E because my usual 7.5EEE was not available. They are still comfortable, just a little snug.

Okay sneakers

Best Shoe - Shame It’s Gone
Best shoe you’ve ever made and you’ve discontinued it. The new “replacements” are legitimate uncomfortable garbage (thick, stiff, almost patent style leather???). Whoever made this decision should be put on a PIP and added back as an adjustment next time AE changes PE owners.
