Allax Double Medium Dog Travel Crate

Fits perfectly in the back of my subaru outback wilderness, with the seats up. I have a 60lb and 40lb Australian Shepherd. The divider in the middle can be slid over to give the bigger dog more room. They have just enough space to lay down and but be snug enough for safety. The crate overall is very appealing, well made, sturdy and the doors open and close smoothly. I haven't noticed any road noise. It can be easily picked up and placed in the back of the vehicle by two people. It gives me an overall ease of mind to know that I have my dogs traveling safely with me.

I recently purchased this kennel. I do like the kennel a lot. It fits perfectly in my 2025 Chevy Equinox. The only thing I did not like is that the kennel came damaged with a lot of scratches and the connection points for the bars to sit on the kennel were bent. It made assembling the kennel a little more difficult. I wish there was a way to be discounted as it was not my fault it was damaged.

I travel (overlanding, road tripping, and off-roading) with my Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd pretty frequently (8 weeks on the road each summer, plus a week or so on the road every month), and no crate system compares to the Thule. Every detail was considered- from the super sturdy yet lightweight doors, the ventilation throughout the entire crate, the extension option for additional crate length (or a shorter crate system for smaller cargo areas), to the best-in-class safety/crash testing. I am seriously so impressed by this crate. Before Thule came out with this product, there was one major brand dominating the vehicle crate market, and they were so popular because of how lightweight and compact they were, making them an easy choice for most vehicles. The Allax, though, is a better shape and fit for the cargo area of a vehicle, and feels so much more robust without compromising on internal crate space for your dog/s. 100/10- for sure the best vehicle crate on the market.
