How to use: Press the Velour Puff into the loose powder, then work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together. Then, tap the powdered side vigorously on the back of your hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to work the powder in.

Absolutely the Best,
As a professional makeup artist, I learned about this product early on in my career. It's light, easy to put on with a puff,and a beautiful way to set your makeup. After shaking it on your puff, fold it like a taco and grind it into the puff. Now fold it the other way with the powder still to the inside and grind it in the other way. Now tap the puff against the edge of the counter with the clean side to get rid of the excess powder. Now fold the puff with the powder on the outside and press it into you skin with a rocking motion. After this take your big powder brush and brush off the excess. Beautiful! You've just set your makeup and don't look like you've been rolled in flour.

Looks and feels great, but 1st ingredient is TALC.
I have been using this exact product for years, but only NOW read the ingredients. The first ingredient listed is the ingredient that is the highest percentage of ingredients. The first ingredient is TALC! I didn't realize they were still using Talc as a main ingredient in makeup and baby powder.
This saddens me and WORRIES me. Now I have to find another line of powder to use. I've been a die hard Laura Mercier product user for years.

Cheap Container
The product works very well. But the container never outlives the product. Its cheap and falls apart long before the product is finished. Am I the only one??

Poorly made container
I love this facial powder, but each container I have had, it has broken on the side of the lid, causing the powder to be wasted. Will not purchase again!

I haven't been such badly break out ever! Take a look at the ingredient you should be careful if you also have acne skin.

Best setting powder so far
Really like how this powder is translucent-- it doesn't add any additional color to my face and doesn't give my face an artificial powdery look. Under normal circumstances, it prevents my face from getting shiny all day. It doesn't work as well on hot, humid days (oh the South), when I have to re-apply a little bit more powder about half-way through the day. Despite this, it can last much longer than other powder's I've used. Good value too-- comes in a sizable container, and you only need to use a small amount. Ask the person at the counter to show you how to apply it-- the amount you need is infinitesimal. I very much suggest you buy the velour puff too-- makes application easier and more economical. This powder is also great for keeping eye makeup in place. Just dust a little on your lids, apply eye makeup, then dust a bit more over and voila-- works better than an eye shadow base/primer-- color lasts all day.
