This versatile pan features a large surface area for searing with straigth sides to hold in liquid and prevent splattering.

What it does: The five-ply bonded construction with stainless steel, aluminum and a thick copper core provides more fast, even heating, warp-free strength and ultimate responsiveness.

Additional features: The highly polished stainless-steel cooking surface offers superior stick resistance for easy maintenance with flared edges for drip-free pouring. A longer, riveted handle is contoured for a comfortable grip and vented to stay cool.

Compatible heat sources: All cooktops including induction; oven/broiler-safe up to 600°F.

Includes: Sauté pan and lid.

Disappointed.

We have a lot of stainless steel pan and non of them have warped. We have a lot of experience dealing with them, avoiding thermal shock, not heating them too fast on the stovetop, etc. This pan lasted 2 or 3 use until it warped outward becoming concave and needing to be pressed against the stovetop as it cooks to get an even heat on the surface, which effectively makes it unusable. This kind of pan is probably more recommended for gas stovetop and not electric/glass stovetops.

Buy it! You’ll love it!

I bought this pan a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. I paid close attention to a few of the negative reviews and cook foods at a slightly lower temp than my usual high. Copper core makes for even heat and plenty hot to sear meats. It does a great job cooking vegetables and everything else I’ve tried. Clean with Bar Keepers friend.

Not a good experience

I have had this pan for two months, and despite always preheating it before cooking (i.e. making sure those drops of water move across the pan like mercury), it is such a pain to clean. I never have issues with a solid foods getting stuck to the pan, but oils, spices, sauces, marinades, etc. etc just seem to get caked on in some spots more often than not. And I never go above medium heat. I'm usually between low and medium. Soap rarely gets this stuff off, and while Bar Keepers Friend (forming a paste of it) usually does the trick, it can take a lot of elbow grease. So for me, the amount of time spent cleaning this pan after nearly every use is not worth it. Maybe quality differs from pan to pan, and I got a dud.
