Perfect for soups and small servings.
It sounds like QC may be the issue with this blender because despite the negative reviews, I absolutely love mine. It is an absolute workhorse and I'd argue that for some items works better than my regular blender. Bought it to make soups, but quickly realized it makes blending single serve smoothies a breeze. I like that it's got some good weight behind it as well. My mother has an older plastic model of another brand and it doesn't feel as stable in the hand. No complaints!

loved it until I did not
This was a daily fav for smoothies during the summer months but come the cooler weather when I used it to blend lentil soup it melted and felt apart. First time all-clad let me down.

Surprising Quality, Speed & Clean-up!
I use my All-Clad Immersion Blender in everything, from hot soups, pasta sauces to single serving smoothies. It's a weapon every "foodie" needs in their kitchen-arenal. It operates according to your needs with speeds that are super mellow to a fast and furious whip mode. With minimal splash-back and an incredibly simple clean-up, my immersion blender is turning out to be one of my top ten purchases in 2018.

Heavy duty and feels great in your hand!
heavy duty immersion blender. cannot go wrong with the quality of an All-Clad product. cannot wait to use it when i'm back home after the 2016 floods that destroyed everything i own. this will be put to use ALOT!

Powerful little gem!
I love this immersion blender! SO powerful unlike another one I had before. This is great to use when I don't want to drag out the mixer, hand mixer, or blender for a small job and I can just pop the mixer part right out and put it in the dishwasher clean up is a breeze!
