What it does: This dishwasher-safe pan is constructed with three bonded layers of stainless steel and conductive aluminum that contribute to superlative heating performance on traditional and induction cooktops alike.

Additional features: High, straight sides and a lid work together to increase heat retention and limit evaporation. The long, comfortable handle stays cool even when the pan is hot, ensuring this pan will become a kitchen favorite.

Wonderful Products

I have several All-Clad products and they are the highest quality and best products I have ever purchased. I will always buy these in the future if I need cookware or bakeware. I have an induction stove and this sauce pan is perfect for small batches.

Defective 1 quart sauce pan

Disappointed in the quality of the 1 quart 3D stainless sauce pan. The bottom of the pan was convex, great for spinning on a glass cook top, but not for cooking. Evidently quality control has been eliminated in manufacturing, a simple inspection with a straight edge on the bottom would reveal the defect. Returned the defective pan to AllClad for a refund. Surprised by not getting a full refund on a defective product. So much for standing behind their product. Over the past twenty years I have purchased AllClad pans, each pan had a flat bottom, and performed as advertised.

Made spaghetti sauce in this pan last week. Cooked it on low for several hours and it never burned or stuck to the pan. The lid fits firmly so you don't have to worry about splatters.

Work well with induction stoves. Made in the USA.

We replaced all our cookware after getting an induction stove and I an delighted with All-Clad. They work well with induction. I was going to get the 5 layer ones as "better," but I didn't like the obvious branding of a big All-Clad on the lids, so went with the 3 layer. They have very graceful handles on the lids. The 3 layer cooks fine for me, so no regrets. I also love that the pans are American made. I also appreciated that they came packed with only cardboard and paper. No plastic. Highly recommend these pans.
