Buyer Beware! Not as Pictured! Disappointment!
This dress was the biggest disappointment, ever! I ordered the "burgundy" for my best friend's wedding and the color is not even close to the gorgeous, deep wine they are showing online. It is MUCH lighter. But that is the smallest of the issues. It seems as though they photographed a beautiful, quality dress from the designer and then had the cheapest, lowest quality replicas made of it to sell. The design is not the same. There is no band at the waist, just the seam of the top and skirt meeting, and there are a number of unflattering seams that make up the top. The material is so horribly cheap and very shinny, the best way I can describe it would be that it is identical to the cheap maroon, polyester tablecloths you can rent. I'd be afraid to even press it because it may melt! It's so bad. I promise you. It also came shipped in a crumbled ball in a tiny shipping box. Wrinkled mess! Wish I could show you pictures! It also definitely runs small as described, im usually a 2/4 and ordered the 6 and it was tight zipping up. I've never returned anything from Nordstrom. Such a let down! :(

Don't bother
I bought this dress in burgundy for an event in January. Thank god I gave myself enough time to return it and find another one! The color is not at all like the picture- In real life it's much more red and much shinier. The material is thin and feels like plastic. It's very cheaply made. The seams are visible by the naked eye which is just unacceptable for the price you are paying. I'm not exaggerating when I say it feels like it's been made out of recycled graduation gowns. It's made for one time use and you can tell. Also the size was too small despite me getting one size up. I should have listened to the other reviews and saved myself the time and effort. Will definitely be returning this dress! :( so grateful for Nordstrom's return policy @alfredsung be better!!!

Stunning dress
I ordered this for my elopement. I was nervous because other reviews said the color didn’t match the photo. However, I thought it was even better. It was a gorgeous, rich red color. The cut was so very flattering. I am normally a size 8, but am quite busty, so I sized up to a 12. It fit great. A 10 definitely would have been too small in the chest.
I felt like an absolute queen in this dress on my wedding day. It accentuated my small waist, and was sexy, feminine, but not completely over the top. The high low hem was perfect for wearing some fun stilletos with.
I can’t wait to wear this again for Christmas, my birthday, valentines, etc. I am definitely making an occasion to be able to wear it again!

I was extremely excited for this dress--I was looking for an elegant non-bridal gown for my non-traditional wedding, and this was exactly what I had envisioned. I ordered a size up and it fit perfectly. However, it looked nothing like the picture. It was a much lighter, somewhat orangey red, instead of the deep wine color pictured. The fabric was very shiny and looked low-quality--like a mediocre prom dress. The seams also were big and bulky, making it poof and bulge around the middle. I was completely disappointed and had to return the dress. I had hoped to post a photo with my review, but that doesn't seem to be allowed.

Perfection
This dress is stunning and high quality! It looks even more expensive in person. Do save yourself some trouble and order up one size. For reference, I’m 5’4” and wear between a 4-6 (waist is between 29”/30”), depending on the designer and I ordered a size 8. It fit perfectly. It comes with straps also for a different look.
