Portrait Collar Satin Trumpet Gown

This is a beautiful dress, but, what I'm finding as the trend with Nordstrom's mother-of-the bride dresses is that they run extremely small. I'm not certain why, but, I'm terribly disappointed in how small they have all run. This is my fourth dress, with a fifth on the way. I know they run small because I have a Ralph Lauren dress, the same size, that fits perfectly, but, this dress fits as if it's two sizes smaller.

Bought this for my daughter’s January wedding. The portrait collar flatters my shoulders. So if you are like me with a strong upper body, you will love this one. Hunter green is lovely. At 5’6” it needs a hem.

I love this dress- it’s gorgeous. However, my proportions and this dress were not meant to be. I bought the dress in a 16 to fit my waist, but I’m more like a 12 in the bust. It was just going to be too much in alterations for a dress I wasn’t getting married in. If you have an hourglass figure, this dress will work. Check the size chart.

The dress is flattering , but the shoulders are very large.

Light weight, formal, shoulders were too large for the size I have to order. I am 5'2" 14%lb

I wanted this dress to work so much! The emerald green is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the dress runs way too small. I wear a size 14 regularly and I purchased an 18 (last available), which they said is similar to a 14-16W. NOT TRUE! I could barely get this dress above my hips and it wasn't close to zipping up. I'd say the dress is more like a 10-12. I'll be returning. Bummer.
