Dahlia Rhinestone Logo Wedge Sandal

When I first saw these sandals in a physical Nordstrom store, I fell in love — they were dazzling and oh-so-sparkly, while refraining from looking tacky and instead looking classic and classy. They also had an extremely cushy-feeling footbed that felt wonderful when I pushed on it with my hand and led me to believe they would actually be comfortable to wear. I *sadly* didn’t have any need for them though, so I didn’t purchase them then. Flash forward a few weeks and I now need heels for a fancy NYE party. I immediately thought of these heels and decided to take another look at them after being given a Nordstrom gift card for Christmas from my grandma. I was shocked and happy to find they were on sale, so I was sold. I did a online pickup order on the app since my Nordstrom store had one size 8 left in stock and rushed to the store to pick up these beauties the next day after my order was filled and ready. I was so excited to get them that I committed the cardinal sin of not trying them on before taking them home…which was a HUGE mistake. I set the shoes aside for a few days until I needed to pack and decide which dress I was taking with me for the NYE party. I picked the winner and of course had to try it on with the shoes. That was when I discovered that the shoes that had seemed like they would be so comfortable and wearable were actually the world’s most uncomfortable sandals. The bottom strap that goes around your toes has NO stretch whatsoever, so it dug into my feet immediately. The straps that wrap around your ankle also have no stretch whatsoever. I cannot even explain how much I struggled to get the straps to close and eventually had to close the strap with the shoe off my foot, tighten the bottom criss-cross part of the straps, then slide my foot through it to get the shoe on before fixing the criss-cross part to look normal again. My forehead was drenched in sweat by the time I was done getting these shoes on, and as soon as I stood up in them I realized I’d just wasted 20 minutes of my time getting them on. Aside from the bottom strap digging into the bottom of my feet, the padding in the footbed that was one of the main selling points for me since I knew I’d be on my feet for ~8 hours was virtually non-existent when you stood up and walked around in the shoes. I thought I maybe just needed to adjust to them, so I walked around my carpeted bedroom for 5 minutes in them. By the end of those 5 minutes, my feet felt like they were on fire and the pain was unbearable, particularly the front soles of my feet. I wear heels almost daily and none of them have ever caused me pain like these ones did. I’m so lucky that I found a backup pair in my closet to wear for NYE, because these ones were in no way wearable and were going to be returned ASAP. Long review short, these shoes were an incredible disappointment. Maybe my expectations were too high after being wowed by them in the store, but I was so saddened that the shoes that I thought were so pretty and seemed so comfortable were anything but comfortable. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone and beg you to try them on and walk around in the store with them for a bit if you do decide to give them a chance so that you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Just received these today and promptly returned them to the store! Purchased size 41 and the fit true to size length wise, however, the strap across the toes is too tight, absolutely no give. Also like stated in another review, ankle strap is a little short, can see where it could be difficult to get on. Don’t understand where a shoe retails over $800 and can’t get a decent size ankle strap 🤔

Very pretty shoes with a gorgeous shine from the rhinestones. But the quality calls for better in designer shoes. The stones started falling off as soon as I took the shoes out of the box. When I thought it was a net of stones, they’re actually glued on to the wedge with a very cheap glue that was soft with slime like texture. Also, the strap doesn’t have a tight closure and is too short, even though I have very skinny ankles
