Sophia Wool Blend Coat

I fell in love with this coat the moment I saw it. I looked at the size chart ("true to size"!!) well, I've been burned by Alex Mill's size charts before, so even though I am an exact size 8 (M), I ordered the medium and the small. The small was absolutely huge on me, so I didn't even bother to unwrap the medium. Fortunately, I had time to order the extra small. It fits probably as intended, which is oversized, but I think it will be fine. The sleeves are pretty wide, so I didn't have any problems putting the coat on over a sweater. I really like the high neck, but I like that the collar can be folded down into a v-neck, too. I live in a warm climate, but I think this will be very chic for travel. For reference, I am 5'4, 135lbs.

The description does not state that the coat is unlined. Difficult to wear comfortably over sweaters etc

What a wonderful surprise that jacquet was. I had never heard of the brand before but was looking for a simple navy overcoat with high wool content. I stumbled on this one and decided to try it. I sized down as other reviewers suggested and I don’t regret it. The wool is super soft, reminded me of the Slade jacket by rag&Bone. The design was spot on. Very trendy but also traditional and the color is a dark delicious navy. I would buy it in other colors but the colors available are not my thing … I hope this model is one that repeats every year. I’d love a long navy coat in this color and material.

Fits great - is a bit thinner than expected but really soft. The buttons on the navy coat are NOT tortoiseshell, they are black!

Unlike the other reviewer , I think the small is oversized, but super cute. I have to roll the arms up, but I like the shape and the no lining. I think it will move very well between all the seasons except summer. I’m 5’3 and 122 lbs.

This jacket is properly sized for me (typically size 16 tops). The material is light and quite warm. It feels very pleasant on. I am a fan of double sided coats and the is jacket is a star!
