Kamil Cable Sweater

This sweater is perfect, EXCEPT for the side slits! They come up so high you can see the bottom of my bra if I lift my arms! If that doesn't bother you, or if you don't mind always wearing a tee underneath, go for it. Because otherwise (did I mention?) it is perfect! Great weight, warm, well-fitting, beautiful natural color. I'm so disappointed, as I've been looking for a fisherman-type sweater for a long time, and thought I had finally found it. The search continues.

I can't say enough good things about this sweater. The fabric is thick and warm but soft, lightweight and not itchy. The neck is just high enough and not constrictive. It's like a classic fisherman's sweater, especially in the oatmeal color, but the cut and fit are much more flattering, thanks to the weight and drape of the knit and the high side slits which allow the sweater to hang perfectly, without the bulkiness of other warm sweaters that tend to ride up. The side slits are about waist-high so the sweater might show some skin if worn alone, but it easily accommodates a cami, tee or button-down worn under it. The fit is true to size, tending to an oversized fit so a size down from your usual might work.
