Stretch Taffeta Cocktail Dress

I was pleasantly surprised with this dress. It is very flattering, I did go up a size and I'm glad I did. I got the teal and it's a gorgeous color.

This was a perfect fit. At 5’6, 185lbs the size 18 fits very well except for the too big arm holes that exposed too much bra. The tulle lining was totally unnecessary. The dress would look better with the tulle removed. Too many no nos and had to return.

This dress is gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice. I bought the olive which is very muted and tasteful. The fabric is substantial and has a little shine to it but not gaudy. The "stretch" in the description was felt in my waistline which was needed. Full disclosure, I will be returning because it didn't fit me very well but that's not the fault of the dress. I'm 5'0, 110 lbs. The dress was too long for my frame so the arm holes were a little low, the neckline was a little low, etc. If I had to guess I feel like anybody 5'4" and above would be fine and would be easy to hem. I had read another review that mentioned you could hear the crinoline when moving in the dress. This is true. You wouldn't want to be sneaking late into a wedding because you will be heard. But at a party you'd be fine. I feel like it could be warn any time of the year and can be dressed up or down. Either way - it has a very sophisticated look. I hope this helps!

Great dress at an even greater price. This dress is very flattering and can be dressed up easily with some nice shoes and jewelry. I got it in navy and I'm planning on wearing it to a wedding. The bit of shine to the material makes it a bit more formal.

Lovely material, so hard to find that these days! Good quality workmanship. The crinoline (right word?) is loud though when you walk.

Great dress, very figure- flattering! Comfortable, not stiff. The crinoline hangs out, not too wide.
