I needed a dress for my son’s wedding. I have struggled with my weight for years. I was so afraid I would not find a dress that would fit, and if by chance I did find a dress, it would look horrible on me. I also needed the dress to be modest. This dress caught my eye. And Everytime I went looking on line for Mother of the groom dresses, I would stop and look at this dress. I am 4’5 and 294 lbs. I found the size 24 only at Nordstrom on line, took the chance and ordered it. The day it came I immediately tried it on terrified It wouldn’t fit and I would look horrible. But when I tried it on, I almost cried. The dress is beautiful and it looked good on me, better than I could have hoped for. It zipped right up, even had a little bit of room, if you are looking for a formal gown and your figure isn’t model perfect you should get this dress! It is worth every penny. I was dreading getting a dress because of my weight, but this dress is designed for real plus size women and now I can’t wait to wear it!!

Heavy itchy dress
Bought in navy for mother of the groom. Looked nice online, but when I tried it on had to take it right off as everywhere the rosettes touched my skin felt stiff and itchy. Also, rosettes were very prominent and thick overtaking the dress. Not for me. Had to return.

Beautiful dress
I love this dress. It is elegant, lightweight, and sparkly. I wore a beautiful diamond necklace that followed the shape of the neckline with dangled earrings and it looked great with the eggplant color. I am 5’4 tall and I did have to shorten the hem, but it was easy since it was one piece of material. It was comfortable since it has some stretch to it, but it still showed off my curves (in a good way). Best of all, I felt young in it!

Beautiful!
This is a gorgeous dress! The color is stunning (it is deeper than pictured) and the scattered, iridescent sequins give it just a touch of sparkle! It comes in navy, too, but I am partial to the eggplant. It is a very simple style and the rosettes are really what makes it stand out in a crowd. It is also very comfortable! I would highly recommend – this dress won’t disappoint!

A Beautiful Feeling
I love love love this dress! At first I was hesitant because the reviews were not good. However I purchased the dress anyway and boy was I glad I did. I am larger bust with a small spare tire around the middle. This dress hid all of it. I felt like a million bucks! It also has such a great wow factor. Everyone loved it and I felt so pretty and never self conscious. I wear a true size 20w so I purchased a 20w. It fit me excellent!!!

Sleeve length not good!!!!
This is THE dress...mother of groom in September. Had ordered size 18, it fit but sleeves a little too short for my taste, plus the length was perfect so no extra fabric to work with to add length to sleeves. Reordered in size 16W. Fit was perfect....needed to take about 4 inches off of length which gave fabric to work with on the sleeves. Loved the fabric!!!! If you can get past sleeves....it is great choice. Navy color, fabric is very rich looking. Great service from Nordstrom’s....needed to return 5 other dresses before I decided to try this “short” sleeve number....they could not have been more gracious with the returns!!!!
