High Rise Tie Waist Wide Leg Pants

These tie waist, wide leg pants are elegant. They are lined, i.e., one filmy material over a crepe material. They have a lovely sash that ties into a bow. I love them. There is one consideration, however, if you are going to buy them. I had to have them altered. I am short (5'1"), and these pants are very long. I had to have them taken up four inches. I loved these pants so much that it did not bother me to have them altered.

I have a pair of these in women's XL and they are nice so I'm giving it four stars. Sadly, I'm now a 1X and when I put these on they felt tight. The rise was off. I'm so glad I read the actual label on the pants. I want to reorder but how do I know the same thing won't happen again? There is nothing on the website that says Petite. I checked other stores and some of them do list Petite. Frankly, petite plus makes no sense. If it's just the length that's shorter, label it as such. Bottom line is that I need a 1X and not sure how to get it.
