Wedding Attire

Dress fits true to size. Very comfortable and the color is beautiful. I will be wearing this dress to my daughters wedding; because of the style, I will be able to move freely and be able to enjoy the evening not worrying about the dress feeling tight.

Misleading color

The photo online shows a lavender shade but the actual dress is a bluish shade.

Nice dress -

Beautifully made and very comfortable. IT just did not look good on me. I felt that idf the jacket were removable it would have played much better. Just a little too mother of the bride for my purposes/ But very nice.

The perfect grown-up summer wedding guest dress

The second lovely garment from this designer and like the first purchased a couple of years ago, fits perfectly/true to size (8) - not 10 per note above. The dress is elegant, understated and stunning, highly suitable for a woman of a certain age with classical taste. Highly appropriate for a summer English wedding and for domestic formal occasions.

Low quality fabric.

The dress is pretty. However, the bottom layer is jersey fabric. Very cheap material. The top layer is much better quality and well made. Taking it off is optional, but if you do, you'll end up wearing a very cheap, thin, almost see-through dress made in China. I expected better fabric from Nordstrom.

Alterations were needed

This appeared to have a jacket, but it is sewn into the seam of the back zipper. The outer “jacket” was too long and I had to have the jacket altered in the length and put two clear snaps on the jacket in the front. I folded the jacket down to have a V neckline for the jacket. I got compliments at my son’s wedding, but the initial design was not to my liking. After the alterations it was a win.
