Cotton Poplin Tunic

I purchased this tunic with the idea I would wear it with white slacks to a corporate event ( what is business casual anyway?). I received many compliments and then found it went well with long and short skirts, wider legged slacks and is totally comfortable. A great multitasker. It would be 5 stars if you could hand or delicate care wash. Not sure why, but the label is adamant the blouse be dry cleaned. For such a dependable workhorse maintenance is pricey.

The fabric and design of this shirt is great. It's pricey compared to other white shirts, but it's great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that is runs big, very big. I wear a 14 normally (Large and sometimes XL in sweaters). The 14 was huge. I exchanged it for a 12, and it was still huge. I just didn't feel like sizing down until I found one that would actually fit. Maybe a 10? Maybe not.

Bought in black. Has a beautiful sheen and can easily go from day to night. I considered returning and ordering one size down but the V neck opening and collar were very flattering and I was afraid it would change in a smaller size. No buttons so that was a consideration. I'm sure I will wear for years to come. Great shirt and worth the price!

Akris has the best quality and design, though expensive they are forever pieces, on sale they are worth the investment. My reason for returning was simply that the care for cotton shirts is so much more work with wrinkles and dry cleaning than some of my other blouses. I would recommended any Akris piece on sale, you will have it and enjoy it for many years!
