Quality high end looking shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is beautiful. The gold button details it’s very well crafted. It was a major score on sale. I paired it with the lace square neck tank in the same color. A good denim button up can be so versatile. This one, while not as versatile as a blue denim is so special and fun. I have a 32” chest and my usual xxs worked great.

Disappointed overall
The fit is a little larger than typical, but I was ok with that because I wanted to layer it. The color is not burgundy, it's purple. In the sunlight, in fluorescent lighting, after you wash it and dry it a few times it's still purple. I loathe the color. I washed it 5 times and dried it twice because it bleeds crazily! Wash alone because it made any writing on my dark clothes reddish. Because I dried it twice the sleeves shrunk up, the body was still fine, but I had to wash it a couple times to pull out the sleeves. The snaps, aka buttons, are not very strong. The length of the shirt is not very long and before I washed it hit just below my waist. I'm 5'-7". I really wanted to love this shirt but I had to do a lot more maintenance than I should on a supposed "low-maint" shirt. I wish I could send it back but I've tried too hard to make it work with the washes, the drying, the reshaping, etc. Before you buy, try it on and know that it will bleed quite a bit. Good luck!

Love the gold buttons

Red denim type shirt
I just bought this last weekend while I was on business travel in Boston. I loved the shirt on display and loved the fit. When home, I heeded the shirt tag about color bleed and I am so glad I did! I washed it alone in a lingerie bag and added an extra rinse. The white linegerie bag is now red. It may wash out, I don't know. I'm concerned the 'red' will rub off on anything I wear under this shirt. Hopefully not.
