Air Superfly Sneaker (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed out of the box was how stiff these shoes are. Not the biggest turn off in the world, as stiffness is often remedied by wearing. That was not the case with these shoes. The leather-style uppers have absolutely no give. Other than maybe getting them wet and wearing them to dry, I’m not sure that that is going to change much. They’re also VERY narrow. I have a wide foot. I mostly wear barefoot style shoes because of that fact. These shoes hurt. Even for the sake of appearance, the discomfort just isn’t worth it to me. And the unfortunate fact of the toe box is that there’s nothing to be done for us wide-footed folks. I would definitely steer other buyers away from these shoes if they’re toe health-conscious or if they’re simply looking for a toe box that’s more accommodating. The sole was comfortably cushioned, and I would say that’s the only redeeming factor for me with these shoes. That being said, as a zero drop/ground contact shoe buyer (as a general rule), my arches started to notice all of the extra support after a while. I will acknowledge that I’m the exception to the rule as most want a comfortable and cushioning sole. These would fit the bill for those people. On an overall scale, I can’t say that I would recommend these shoes. They’re uncomfortable, tight and unforgiving. Especially for a running shoe.
