Not red
This shoe is a nice shoe. The reason for the low rating is the color. It is not red when you receive it. It is burgundy.

Dainty and Denim
They are very nice! Been looking for the denim pair for some time. Finally got some. Rubs the back but not to the point of hurting a breaking in can fix that as well as a heel pad.

I loooove my AJ1s! No, the color is not red. It's more like a rich red wine color which is way better than red. The velvet is so soft and pretty.

Not the color in picture
The picture is misleading. These aren't red, instead the a deep merlot. Very beautiful color nonetheless but not the color I was looking for. I'm still keeping them, just upset that the outfits I'd planned to wear with them definitely won't work.
