What it does: The creamy exfoliating cleanser helps reveal smoother skin. Chemical exfoliants, plus physical exfoliants from biodegradable jojoba beads, help open hydration pathways. The cleanser helps optimize skin's ability to attract and hold moisture. It gives you the benefits of a hydrating cleanse plus physical and chemical exfoliation in one. The multitasking, cleansing exfoliant is an ideal addition to your cleansing regimen two to three times a week. Chemical and physical exfoliation helps clear dull, dry skin from the surface for a fresher appearance and to improve penetration of treatment ingredients that follow. Exfoliation also helps open hydration pathways, as sodium PCA optimizes skin's ability to attract and hold moisture.
How to use: Massage a small amount of the Exfoliating Cleanser over dampened face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Use 2-3 times a week.

Not good for normal skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product, but I’ve been using it for about three weeks now and I’ve noticed no difference in my skin, I’ve actually had more breakouts than usual. It also leaves my skin feeling extremely dry after using. I was also hoping it would help with blackheads on my nose, but I haven’t noticed a difference. It doesn’t have much of a scent, which is the only plus I can think of, unfortunately.

smaller/less than before
Shrinkflation is real. I’ve been buying this for years and put the latest order in as I finish the last of the previous and it is sizably smaller. That makes sense given current economy but this just feels shady and not upfront.

Best exfoliating cleanser.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The exfoliating cleanser is amazing. I like the texture of the cleanser, and the scent is not too strong it’s very neutral scent. I like the way that it does not make my skin irritated. I would recommend using this product.

My new Go-To Exfoliating 🧼 Wash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser for awhile now, and it’s honestly become my go-to face wash for exfoliation.
From the first wash my facial skin felt smoother
and more refreshed- the exfoliation is gentle, but really makes a difference! It’s not too harsh, like some other products that I’ve tried. Even though it’s gentle, it still gives you that satisfying deep-clean 🧼 feeling.
I love how it foams up nicely and rinses clean without leaving and greasy or tight skin feeling behind.
I can tell that my skin is no longer dull, and I can tell it’s more even- without those rough patches I can sometimes get. My skin definitely 💯 looks brighter and more even.
The scent is light 💡 and not overpowering, which I appreciate. It’s not irritating 😠. I would say it’s strong 💪 enough to make a difference, but gentle enough for my skin.
I will admit, I don’t use it daily. I try to use it only once a week cause I don’t want to completely strip my skin or make it too dry. But I have made it a staple in my weekly skin routine.

Great exfoliating cleanser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a regular-cleanser person and was wary of acids, but Murad’s AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser felt gentle even on my sensitive skin. First use left my face noticeably cleaner and clearer, rejuvenated, not stripped. I layer on my barrier-repair serum and a rich moisturizer, and my skin actually feels better afterward. Now I use it twice a week and love the steady glow.

Gentle exfoliation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have combination skin, where my skin is mostly dry except for my oily t-zone. I have seen some improvement in my skin texture since using this product. It provide gentle exfoliation without wrecking the skin’s barrier. I don’t think it does much for breakouts, I don’t usually have much, and they still occur while using this product. The scent is nice, not too overwhelming. I would not rely on it as my only form of exfoliating. I found that I needed milder exfoliation especially for my nose.
