Not the usual AGL quality, Toe Box too small
Have been wearing AGL shoes for years, have many pairs and they have been reliably high quality and comfortable. I ordered the Mara Loafer 2 sizes over my regular size 9 and they are too short and tight in the toes. The leather buckles on the sides- too wide? And the soles seem paper thin and heels also too thin and not likely very durable. Style looked dated when tried them on. Cannot recommend.

Beautiful shoe but fit was off
I ordered several pairs of AGL Mara in black and Jadine. The green color was stunning, but the fit was off. I am a true size 7 leaning to a narrow width. Tried sizes 7, 7.5, and 8 and couldn't get the perfect fit. The shoes were either too short or too tight. I have had problems with fit in other AGL styles too. It is very disappointing because the quality of the leather is wonderful and feels luxurious. I took two stars off because of the fit.

Cheap looking and feeling, not worth the money
For $400.00 I feel like glue should not be showing between the soul and leather. The soul should have been a tad thicker. Very disappointing for AGL.

wanted to love them but the fit is off
I found the toe box very short in the depth and the AGL label is sewn in the shoe, where your heel rests, so you can feel the nylon three that sewed in the label. Disappointing.

Buy 2 sizes up!
Comfortable, classic shoe. I’m a 7.5 and I purchased a 9.5. I have other AGL shoes and have never purchased a 9.5. I agree with other reviewers that the sole is rather thin. I will probably have my shoemaker add a layer to the sole. On sale, you feel like you’re paying for what you get. Full price, not so much.
