Mari Raw Hem High Waist Crop Straight Leg Jeans

I never spend this much on jeans, but after gaining a little weight and needing a few pairs a size larger while I work on getting back into my others, I decided to treat myself - now I'm hooked! The fabric is so soft, the fit relaxed but not sloppy, and the whiskering is not over the top. I'm 5'5", 141 lbs. and the 30 fits perfectly. Because my legs are on the stubby side, these are a little longer on me than on the model but still look cropped. I'm trying to venture outside of my usual jegging, and this is the first pair of looser jeans I've found that doesn't have some aspect of the 90's I dislike (tapered leg, super baggy, too high of a rise, etc.). I have a short torso and the rise hits me slightly below the belly button. Christine at the Tacoma Mall store helped me find these after supplying me with over 10 pairs of jeans to try - I appreciate her help!

I am 5'1" and 123 lbs. As a shorter woman, usually I find AG's in size 26 or even 25 are perfect for me, and the cropped ones are full length! But these high-waisted styles are a challenge. This goes up higher than my belly button. Ok if standing up but uncomfortable to sit down! Returned!! Why dont these jean companies understand that TORSO LENGTHS differ?? Alterations cannot fix this! hem lengths are not always the issue. Frustrating

I fell in love with AG denim a few years back and I have a pair of black Prima jeans and two pairs of Farrah High Waisted Skinny jeans that still look good. However, I really needed some high waisted jeans that were more casual than my Farrah jeans and I couldn't find a single pair at the Rack that I liked. I decided to try on two pairs of the Mari style and I remember why I fell in love with AG years ago. The jeans are so soft, 98% cotton, and seem to fit all of my curves so nicely. It is nearly impossible to find jeans that fit me and don't fall down which is why I find myself coming back to AG again and again. Also, shout out to Mary N. at the Southcenter store! She helped me out finding jeans in my size and checking their inventory. I also felt hesitant spending so much on jeans, however she encourage me that I was making a good investment. Today, when I wore my jeans, I was reminded how right she was and I felt so confident and comfortable which is absolutely worth the money I spent. Thanks Mary!
