My husband is tall with an athletic build. Previously his go-to style in AG was the Protege. He appreciated the loose, straight leg of the Protege. I thought the Protege looked a little too loose, bordering on a "wide leg" look - outdated! I wished we could find a jean that he found comfortable, that worked with an athletic butt and thighs, that looked a little more hip... he won't do a "skinny" jean, but I thought a more streamlined straight leg would look best. The Graduate is it!!! We are so glad AG has the Graduate fit, and Nordstrom carries every inseam (the only other retailer to carry every inseam is the AG store and they're often sold out). If you like the comfort and flexibility of the Protege, but are looking for a more tailored, sleek, stylish look, then the Graduate is your answer.
Please note, in AG jeans he always has to size down one size from his normal dress pant size.

Not made in USA
Nordstrom site says these jeans are MADE IN USA. This is untrue. The tag says MADE IN MEXICO.

Stupendous
I've worn The AG Protégé for a long time. They're great but I wanted a smaller leg opening. These are perfect jeans. The Robinson color is a little heavier than other AG's, but only a hair. Many AG's are 10 or 11 ounces. The Robinson is 11.75. It's awesome. Looks great, feels great. Super versatile. The little bit of stretch is right on. There are jeans that cost five times as much, but I doubt there's a more perfect fitting pair of jeans out there. Major league impressed with The Graduate.

Favorite new fit!!!
My husband loves this new fit! We both love AG... He usually wears the Protege which is wider at the bottom. I was a little nervous to stray from the Protege, but he LOVES the fit of the Graduate! It gives him the room he likes in the butt and thigh but it's just narrow enough to show off his favorite sneakers! He's been wearing these jeans everyday... I can't wait to get him another pair!

Amazing Jeans
AG Jeans are Amazing!
Great fit, unbeatable comfort and stylish too.
With the built in stretch they hold there shape all day long, no baggy rear or knees after a short period of time.
Work day appropriate and can go into a casual event and always look urban cool.

Size runs big
After reading all the positive reviews, I was disappointed when it arrived. The material and color looks nice but it is waaayy too big, and the cut looks baggy (but maybe that's because the size was way off). My husband wears 36x32 or 35x32, so I ordered 36x32. It looks more like a 38. Now I have to return these and order a different one.
