Graduate Slim Straight Leg Jeans

I'd like to thank previous reviewers who cautioned that these jeans runs a little large. I would specifically like to thank the woman who wrote that her husband was "tall, thin, and has no butt", yet these jeans fit him perfectly. So using that info, I ordered a 31" waist instead of my normal 32", and it was a perfect fit. The other size option that I would have welcomed is a 35" inseam instead of 34" (and longest available), but I understand that 31x35 is a tiny sliver of market size for any mass produced jean. So it's a little bit of a hassle to not just be able to toss them in a dryer, but a small price to pay to maintain proper fit. The one feature not mentioned in most reviews is just how thin the cotton blend material is. It is similar to the thickness of athletic warm-ups or outerwear. Yes, they are comfortable right out of the box, but they are so thin that it makes me wonder just how durable they will be. Perhaps the bonus of not drying them for fear of shrinkage will be to unintentionally extend the life of these jeans. Only time will tell.

This is a great color jean. I dress business casual which is usually jeans and a sport or dress shirt. This color is perfect for the look. Not too light and not black. Looks great with my sneakers, loafers, and derby's. Only reason why i gave this 4 stars and not 5, is because the taper from the knee down, wasnt as much as I liked. I wear a 36 waist and to me had a little bit of a baggy look. $20 on Nordstrom alterations fixed with with the seamstress doing a custom taper from the knee down. I even got back my alterations cost in $Notes because I am a card holder. LOVE Nordstroms

Jeans are supposed to be lightly distressed, then finished in a deep indigo overdye to give the denim a casually worn appearance from the start. Not so. No light distressed look. No casually worn appearance. I have bought these jeans in the past and was very happy. I will be returning these.
