Not sure why they say size up. I normally wear a 27 AG jean and figured I would want my shorts to fit a little looser so I ordered a 28. But these were loose enough that they would fall down without a belt. I’m going to return and try a 26 because they are soft and look like the right length.

These are great shorts, they’re super soft and comfy but they def run big. I sized down one but could go down 2.

I don’t know why the description says to size up. I normally wear 27, 28 in AG jeans depending on style. I tried 26,27,28 and bought the 28. Four stars just because of price but they are super soft and comfy.

These shorts DO NOT run big.
They don’t run big. Order your normal size or maybe even one size up. They are also closer to low waist than mid.
