After Dark Luxury Candle

This candle is amazing. I have at least 6 different HCC candles and this scent if one of my favs. The scent is luxurious, yummy and warm. I love to burn the candle after logging off from work to wind down and relax. It has a feminine and masculine scent all combined together. The hints of vanilla are rich. I actually bought 1 and just recently ordered 2 more to give away as gifts. I might change my mind...lol. Appreciate the sale price, great deal!

IF you like candle scents that lean more perfume or cologne like, the scent After Dark is one of them. Harlem Candle makes others that are NOT perfume like that I really enjoy very much. After Dark also leans more masculine imo just fyi. I think it’s definitely because of the Oud in the scent base. There’s a slight vanilla to add a little sweetness which I do pick up. It’s just one of those that you love or hate-I had developed a horrible headache from the sharpness of this scent, it made me irritable-you know how when you can’t stand the smell of something and you become very agitated? The headache and pain behind my eyes didn’t help. This one was a total flop for me. I’m angry just thinking about how it smelled. Some will love this though if they like colognes type scents in a candle especially with Oud. The design is really nice. I do think it should come with a lid as I do think of many of the candles at this price point as above.
