Billie Print Long Sleeve Semisheer Dress

The dress itself is totally gorgeous and tts, but Nordstrom sent it without the brown slip liner. I thought this would be a simple fix (either send a replacement slip, rush-ship a new dress, or price-adjust to reflect the missing part of the $98 dress), but Customer Service was unable to do anything helpful, giving me the option to return and reorder (dress would not be delivered in time for event) or pay for alterations at Nordstrom (which they confirmed they were not willing to pay for). I’d have been fine with being flexible to fix this simple issue in any number of ways, but their approach seems to be that the burden to fix their quality control issues is 100% on the customer, and that’s very frustrating when you’re paying full retail at a generally reputable business.

This dress is everything! The sheer outer dress compliments the curves you want to display, as the opaque inner “slip” controls the curves you don’t (although I did wear shape wear). I received so many compliments and felt so amazing wearing it, that I’m looking for it in more colors! It comes very long, so I did have to get the length altered, but it was totally worth it. I’m 5.2 and 160, shapely.

Too long for me

Fits perfect (I'm a size 4, 5'6"). Style is good. I expected it to fit tight and clingy, but it was perfect. If you're "of a certain age," you might want to pull the slip thing up a couple times, but that's it!
